No, we choose the right treatment methods for each patient's condition, such as electrical stimulation is not suitable for every case, so we take time to focus on the right treatment that works best.
The treatment focuses on balancing the muscles on both sides, reducing inflammation of trigger point which is the source of pain, adjusting the structure or “Posture Correction” whether you are sleeping, sitting, standing or walking, according to the principles of Ergonomics. We also emphasize on exercises to prevent recurring pain in the future.
Physical therapy exercises focus on strengthening the muscles in the specific area. This will help prevent recurring injuries in the same spot. In addition to physiotherapy treatment, as if you had a personal trainer, designing individual's exercises to suit the muscle condition at that moment.
The human body can repair injuries by itself, but we need to move or use it all the time, making self-healing more difficult. If the pain remains for 2-3 days, we do recommend you to attend physiotherapy sessions, helping you recover faster and reduce pain from the injuries.
Depending on the symptoms, for example, tendinitis will take longer to heal than muscle inflammation. For Herniated Nucleus Pulposus (HNP), physiotherapy can only provide supportive care and reduce pain. Patients should attend physiotherapy sessions at least 1-2 times a week for follow-up and continuity of treatment for a faster healing process .
Physical therapy treatment requires a continuation of treatment due to the electrical wave used in the treatment is effective for a certain period of time. If the patient stops treatment without being completely cured, like taking a drug that doesn't complete the full dose, it might cause a recurring pain or chronic pain.
Genetic Disorders, such as Congenital scoliosis, or some chronic health conditions, such as Diabetic neuropathy, cannot be treated by physiotherapy treatment.
